FISTS Down Under Inc is proud to be offering financial grants of up to $500 towards club projects to implement a Reverse Beacon Network receiver/node. In 2020 FISTS Down Under donated $1,000 to deploy two new RBN receivers/nodes. The Northern Corridor Radio Group (NCRG) VK6ANC went live mid-year and the Radio Amateur Society of Australia (RASA) VK3RASA went live in November 2020. These two RBN add to VK4CT providing VK with three receivers covering a fair section of our continent.
Committee is keen to see another RBN deployed in VK2 (near Sydney) or in VK7 or VK5. If your club would be interested please contact us… we can assist with technical design and support. Just send an email to secretary (AT) fdu.org.au
