Wednesday Wrap 2026

Every Wednesday from 0900-1200UTC. No speed limits, all welcome.

Objective: The objective of this weekly event is to promote more activity and develop CW skills on-air. Participants should aim to earn sufficient points to be eligible for a participation Award as a minimum – that’s only 10 QSOs per month. 

Rules: Bands – To keep activity reasonably concentrated, only QSOs on 160m, 80m, 40, and 20m are eligible for the Awards. Try to keep around the FDU frequencies. 1818, 3528, 7028, 14028 kHz +/- QRM.

QSOs do not have to be with other FDU members and can be with any other station.  Most activity appears to be on 40 metres, 7025 & 7028, but don’t be afraid to check 160, 80 and 20 metres too, starting on FDU frequencies. No duplicates on the same band/same date. Other bands are fine.

Awards:

There will be one participation award each month – just having a go (you must make at least 10 QSOs for the month). The participation award will be something (it might not be new) and if it’s a book you are encouraged to put it back into the prize pool when you’ve read it – just let me know)
